Why AFSA?

Why should you join AFSA ?

Make a difference - Join AFSA!

FACT: You don't have to be a Sergeant to be a member of AFSA.

First, what is AFSA? AFSA stands for Air Force Sergeants Association. Who is AFSA? “We are all enlisted grades of Air Force Active Duty, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve Command, retired, veteran and family members.”

FACT: AFSA is the only professional organization that
represents the Air Force ENLISTED voice on Capital Hill.

So what does that mean to you? Let’s start with what AFSA does for you. AFSA provides YOU with face-to-face representation on Capital Hill, in the Pentagon, with the Veterans Administration and with Senior Air Force leaders.

FACT: AFSA focuses on Health Care, VA Benefits, Education, Retirement
Age for ANG and AFR, CDC's and Execptional Family Member Programs.

Consider this: Each year, Congress and DoD make hundreds of decisions on issues that directley affect the lives of enlisted people and thier families.  AFSA lobbyists continue to inform the members of Congress, the Departments of Defense, Verterans Affairs, Education, Health and Human Services, and the White House of the sacrifices that our enlisted members and thier familes make on a daily basis.
