Chapter 161 is the Hanscom AFB Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA) Chapter.

AFSA is the only Air Force enlisted organization dedicated to the people behind the stripes. Each year, Congress and the Department of Defense make hundreds of decisions on issues that directly affect the lives of enlisted people and their families.  These important issues include medical care, job security, pay, commissary privileges, education benefits, et al.

 

2012 AFSA Executive Council

I want to thank everyone who came out and supported our AFSA elections in December. We elected 6 positions to get our 2012 AFSA chapter started. We look forward to supporting our local community, AFA, PEA, Hanscom Top 3, professional development of our Airmen, and the purpose AFSA exists-supporting Enlisted Airmen on Legislative matters.
