Adopt-a-Street cleanup- AFSA 1179- Saturday, 24 Jul 2010

Need or want some volunteer hours?  We are organizing another Adopt-a-Street cleanup for our local Air Force Sergeants Association chapter!

Date:  24 July 2010 (Saturday)  Time:  0830 – 1100’sh

Location:  Tower Rd. between Mississippi and Iliff.  We will meet in the parking lot of Tower Community Fellowship Church (on the left off Tower if coming from base, at the corner of Tower and Powerline Trail rd.) We will try to get as many supplies as we can, but I recommend that you bring gloves and sun block.  Also, long pants may be warranted as some areas have overgrown grass.  We will have bottles of water.

If you can make it, please send me an e-mail so I can make sure to bring enough water and vests.  In your email, please include your: Name, Rank, Organization. The more people we have, the faster the work will go. Please feel free to bring your dependents as well. We ask that if you bring small dependents to remember that traffic will be around us. Come out and help make a difference in our community! POC: SrA Leslie Simpson, Email: Leslie.Simpson@buckley.af.mil
